Chevycavy 1st Gear November 9, 2006 Share November 9, 2006 Is the VSD II universal and work on all cars? I know Ignite Rev is model-specific and does not have application for all car models.

Samail Neutral Newbie November 9, 2006 Share November 9, 2006 VSD II has 2 part. The main unit and the harness cable. The main unit is generic to all cars. However, the harness cable needs to be specific.
Orixy 2nd Gear November 9, 2006 Share November 9, 2006 Guys, any comments on these products that are supposed to boost sparking voltage too? iTune Spark VS xtreme Spark Optimizer v3.2 Think there are 3 types of sparking related products in market now: 1-boost spark voltage from stock 12volt to XXvolt. 2-capacitor based that stores voltage so that the supply is always sufficient even during hard acceleration. 3-noise reduction so that sparking can be more consistent. Not sure which one is best for most newer cars that are already on direct spark coils setup? Hmm...
Chisiang 2nd Gear November 9, 2006 Share November 9, 2006 Quote Bro CHISIANG Thanks for your reply. I got VSD-II last weekend and it did to help the pickup from low to high. Do u think I need to get Ignite-REV at the same time? The reason I got VSD-II was the feedback from RX300 club, those installed Ignite-REV first then VSD-II, according to their feedback. 1. After Ignite-REV, respond is good 2. Add in VSD-II even better Therefore, I try VSD-II first and v happy with it's performance. Bro the VSD II can work alone, but with the Ignite Rev will be more ideal. TM Works coming out with the Ignite REV replacement called Inside Ignite Rev. There will be no more "box" but just a tube using nano technology to built all into the tube but will be slightly more expensive.
Chisiang 2nd Gear November 9, 2006 Share November 9, 2006 Quote bro, this two product cost one leg and one arm to install man ya. unfortunately because of high R&D and material cost. I was hoping they can bring the price down so more can enjoy but they prefer to offer high quality material.
Marcostan 4th Gear November 9, 2006 Author Share November 9, 2006 Bro ORIXY, It's more safe to go for Japanese products & this Ignite REV from TM Works was in market for years. Most of the other brand IMHO are copycat of TM Works. One important factor is whether the product reliable and will it cause any damage to ur ride MarcosTan

Marcostan 4th Gear November 11, 2006 Author Share November 11, 2006 Bro CHISIANG, Never see this new model. POISON POISON POISON. After VSD-II, now still monitor the FC, I hv a feeling it should help a bit to improve the FC. But, last week there's always big jam on AYE towards Jurong. For 15-20 min drive it took 45 min. If it don't help in FC,for the improvement it give to my car's performance, it still a good buy. Marcos

Marcostan 4th Gear November 14, 2006 Author Share November 14, 2006 Just finished a full tank after VSD-II. I did a calculation of the FC and the result: 1. 5% better than my average of last 5 full tank. 2. using Shell 95 The FC should be better, because I did drive more aggressive and faced a few times of heavy jam on AYE. Will keep u guys update after a few more tank. MarcosTan
