MCF Main Page Loads Slowly Recently

Noticed that nowadays, the main page seems to load slower. Usually see the top banner first, then need to wait a while, before the page body is loaded....

 

Any others here also feel the same?

 

Maybe can remove some of the things from the main page to speed up the loading speed, eg. instead of showing the server stats directly on the main page, can just include a link to another page which shows the stats...

 

Or maybe the slow loading speed is due to google ads...

nothing to do with that... only the main page loads slower...

correction.. noticed that not just the main page, many of the pages in MCF load slower than usual. even sometimes when when posting a message, it takes a while before the message is posted and the new page loads.

The slow-ness is because of the EZSTAB flash animation advertisement.

I tink it has to do with higher traffic flow caused by a rapidly increasing number of members.

No it's not that flash animation that is causing the slowness. Maybe it will be a little slow when u first load it, but subsequently, it will be in the cache.
