Checked my space saver spare yesterday and visually it looked fine. Prodded it and din feel soft. Never used it b4 and it's abt 1yr old. But since i was pumping the tyres yesterday, i decided to open up the boot, etc (damn leceh..) to check the spare's pressure too.

The spare's sidewall indicated in bold, "Inflate to 60psi". Got a shock when it was onli 28psi all this while tho it looked fine. Thot i'd share this so MCFers to go check their spares too.

i'll never forget the lesson learn. Years back found my rear tyre deflated in MSCP, so took out all the barang barang, and change to spare tyre, got a shock that the spare tyre was even more 'flatter', so.... have to change back to the first tyre, and drove slowly to the nearest tyre shop. Lost some sweat and also confidence in that AD workshop, I just finished a scheduled service days ago. From then on, will check my spare tyre when I check the 4 main tyres.
