Six_ghz Neutral Newbie October 29, 2006 Share October 29, 2006 (edited) Behind looks vaguely like the VW Golf... Still like the slits! Edited October 29, 2006 by Six_ghz
Normal_aspirated Clutched October 29, 2006 Author Share October 29, 2006 (edited) .......and here: http://motoring.reuters.co.uk/reuters/vocm...%20Fiat%20Bravo Fiat has released the first images of the new Fiat Bravo - the replacement for the unloved Stilo. The car certainly looks good in the pictures and has a clear family resemblance to the attractive new Grande Punto. Of course the Stilo was not exactly ugly at launch - it was just unappealing to drive with completely the wrong mix of features and prices. One certainly hopes the new Bravo will fare better. The new car will go on sale in right-hand-drive form next summer and will come with two core engines - a 1.4 petrol with 90 bhp, 120 bhp or 150 bhp (the latter two outputs thanks to turbocharging) and the familiar 1.9 diesel with either 120 bhp or 150 bhp. Other webby are: http://www.eurocarblog.com/categoria/fiat and http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2006/08/2007-...ered-stilo.html Edited October 29, 2006 by Normal_aspirated

Qooo Neutral Newbie October 29, 2006 Share October 29, 2006 Bravo for Fiat! Any specs yet? Any idea if it'll reach S'pore shores?
Normal_aspirated Clutched October 29, 2006 Author Share October 29, 2006 (edited) Dunno yet............need to ask TTS. From the webby, i think it probably be in 2008 or later......as agent here is very cautious not to bring in earlier becuz of any production problem. For the specs, here it is from the webby: The engine range will start with the 1.4-liter gasoline engine (90 ps), go on to the two brand new 1.4 T-JET turbo-charged gasoline engines, outputting 120 and 150 ps. On the diesel side, there will be the usual 1.9-liter Multijet engines (120 and 150 ps). The new Bravo is 4.34 meters long, 1.79 meters wide and 1.49 meters high, with a wheelbase of 2.6 meters. Trunk capacity is 400 liters. Edited October 29, 2006 by Normal_aspirated

Wanrizal Neutral Newbie October 29, 2006 Share October 29, 2006 Now this would definitely stop the problem of Grande Punto's supposedly underpower claims (77bhp)... "The new car will go on sale in right-hand-drive form next summer and will come with two core engines - a 1.4 petrol with 90 bhp, 120 bhp or 150 bhp (the latter two outputs thanks to turbocharging) and the familiar 1.9 diesel with either 120 bhp or 150 bhp." But what will ever happen to the G Punto then? Frankly this one looks sweeter than the G Punto!
Normal_aspirated Clutched October 29, 2006 Author Share October 29, 2006 (edited) by then when Bravo arrived here GP market will be matured........so it may be possible to be replacement model for it. Or if GP is in still production (of course will be much cheaper by then), TTS will only bring in the TC-ed Bravos. my S$0.02. Relagsingh 4th Gear October 29, 2006 Share October 29, 2006 Hmmm... but have to pay premium ins for TC models... But still can save on road tax lah. Not as good as the TSI by VW though, but good effort anyway by FIAT. Nice car, very classy. No interior pics? Hope it's much better than the GPunto. Pandaeyes Neutral Newbie October 29, 2006 Share October 29, 2006 (edited) The more I look at it, the more I'm dreaming about it. I cant wait for it to be here in Singapore. I'll now try to clear my loan asap so tt when it comes, can trade in! TTS: Pls don't bring in the 1.4 (90bhp) version. Bring in the 1.4 Turbocharged.
