Slonez Clutched December 17, 2007 Share December 17, 2007 I don't really know the pricing now so cannot comment. If you getting the manual, your modding options so much more. A simple boost/mapping to 1 bar gets you pass the 200bhp barrier. A turbo swap/mapping/exhaust/++ can get you close to 300bhp . ↡ Advertisement
Kenmical Clutched December 17, 2007 Share December 17, 2007 Tat is the main intention of getting the manual version. But there is 2 sides to ponder. 1) Is comfort and ease of use 2) Power to the pedal. Gotta think carefully.
Boyboy 1st Gear December 17, 2007 Share December 17, 2007 get manual but the main issue is whether u trust PI. personally, if the car has few reliability issues i'd heck the AD/PI warranty and go service it myself, regularly, at reliable mech. for my current cheepo ride, i was reluctant at first to "void warranty". but in the end, mod here n there, even if i go back to service also voided. for turbo cars with auto, it will be fast but no shiok, after some time u may wish for true manual ride instead. unless u always get stuck in jam then maybe u need auto, but if u spend all the time in jam then perhaps u need a budget car with good FC instead

Turbonetics 2nd Gear December 17, 2007 Share December 17, 2007 the auto model comes with ralliart interior too. by the way,is C&C selling the facelift model now?
Kenmical Clutched December 17, 2007 Share December 17, 2007 Yes and it is precisely the Ralliart sports seats that my wife hated becos it is not leather. My current ride hv nice real leather. But personally I quite like it cos grippy. Facelift model? not sure abt it but the one i test drove is tis: http://www.xxxxxxx.com/pdb/lcp.php?pid=11...m%3D26%26aso%3D Is this the facelifted one? Turbonetics 2nd Gear December 17, 2007 Share December 17, 2007 a facelift model has got a nicer rims in my opinion. it has got more spokes which are thiner than the former model. the seats of a facelift models are all black unlike the pre-facelift model which has a mixture of blue and black. other than that, everything are pretty much similar. except for the manual model which has its power increase to 163ps if iam not wrong. Kenmical Clutched December 18, 2007 Share December 18, 2007 I am not sure if i can request for OZ Sports rim / leather seats etc. Let's see what i can get from the SC today. Can any bro here who bought from CnC advice?
Biang Neutral Newbie December 18, 2007 Share December 18, 2007 Hi, i bought my colt plus turbo from lobangking88 aka Kelvin last month. Quite an attractive deal i got from him. Basically, i did not ask for more "freebies"... except the rims and the leather seats. Well, according, to the SE at CnC, leather seats are not available for this Colt Plus Turbo, or Colt Version Ralliart. While, for the sport rims, didnt really bother which one is given, since i traded the whole seats for a 17" the next day after i collect my car. Of course, with a nicer rims... Go to http://dc3.ipbhost.com/index.php to search for more information, this forum is dedicated for Mitsubishi Colt.
Kenmical Clutched December 18, 2007 Share December 18, 2007 Cool...i intend to trade in those rims too. But for a 16" cos i prefer lighter and smaller rims. Hehe... It's kinda late...cos I think they hv this syst where u cannot change SC once you test drove with a particular SC? That is what i heard abt the leather seats but I will go TOMO to work it out myself after this. Thanks for the link as there will be many 'projects' you guys can share after I got the car. First is ECU i think.
Turbonetics 2nd Gear December 18, 2007 Share December 18, 2007 good luck to you.
Slonez Clutched December 18, 2007 Share December 18, 2007 Don't touch the ECU until you have done all the common mods like air intake, exhaust, fuel regulator, etc... You should only piggy back after you have done all that so the tuner can remap taking all these into consideration.
Kenmical Clutched December 18, 2007 Share December 18, 2007 Yup understand...kinda like my current ride too. But tis is my first turbo ride so got lots of things to learn again.
