Falc 3rd Gear October 28, 2006 Share October 28, 2006 Power is ok. Boost not so high, so it just feels like a bigger cc car instead of full blown turbo car. FC is good I read because of CVT partly. But CVT is loud and can be intrusive. Handling not so good, esp for rear passenger where the ride is bumpy. Pretty value of money overall.
Slonez Clutched October 28, 2006 Share October 28, 2006 Any idea what's the FC?

Schnauzee Neutral Newbie October 28, 2006 Share October 28, 2006 Went to test drive today, tried the NA Colt Plus first. Power adequate in CVT mode but once change to manual shift, quite shiok, overtaking is no problem. Steering is very light. Tried the turbo next, acceleration in CVT mode already . Suspension is much firmer & confidence inspiring. Tried manual mode . Very tempted, anyone has figure for the FC?
Falc 3rd Gear October 28, 2006 Share October 28, 2006 According to Colt forum http://dc3.ipbhost.com/index.php IIRC 11-13km/L. Just dunno how lasting the CVT gonna be, but no reported problem so far.
Falc 3rd Gear October 28, 2006 Share October 28, 2006 IIRC it's 7 speed CVT right? Can shift until blur.

Roulette23 Neutral Newbie October 28, 2006 Share October 28, 2006 Other than the fact that it does look like Mr. Potato Head from the rear, its a pretty decent ride.
Jusnel 6th Gear October 28, 2006 Share October 28, 2006 cannot assume gearbox is under warranty.... some ADs do not cover gearbox..... not sure abt C&C warranty... but i hear about other ADs they considered it as wear and tear condition. gearbox spoilt, owner pay to repair

Slonez Clutched October 29, 2006 Share October 29, 2006 (edited) Choy choy choy! Frankly last time never think much about Colt Plus Turbo cos its light pressure (see no up) . Now after experiencing it, feel that its a great buy considering it can keep up with the entry level BMW, Mercs, Camry, Accord, etc at that low price plus space to boot! But my heart is somewhere else ..... Edited October 29, 2006 by Slonez
Spas Neutral Newbie October 29, 2006 Share October 29, 2006 Looks cute. But some European drivers had problems with their Colts. Mainly a chassis problem. Sometimes creaky. Wonder if they stiffened it up for the Turbo version? Also, some say that the chassis may not be able to take impacts. I.e. it may not be as safe - though I must stress that this is merely a rumour in some european mitsubishi forums. :) ↡ Advertisement
