The price gap btwn the WRX and the STi is too wide to justify the small gap in performance figures. So the WRX is a much better buy....if only they would allow test drives. Super7 Turbocharged April 5, 2003 Share April 5, 2003 My friend's car's front end was badly knocked by a car coming from the opposite direction last year. The engine was pushed almost 2 inches off. His car was in the 'hospital' for 4 months (partly waiting for parts from overseas). WHen the job was finally done, it doesn't look it's been smashed at all. Now he's driving it happily again........ Yeah, looking back at the episode, i'm kinda glad MI gave me shitty "service" (can't really call it that coz didn't get any ). Cheap doesn't always mean value for money.
