Vblaster_w211 2nd Gear November 3, 2006 Share November 3, 2006 It only came in very recently. Same level as AMG and Maybach. The IS250 at offer for standard model existing stock at one time was $120K. I received the sms from the SE, but that was some time back. ↡ Advertisement

Redboy 1st Gear November 26, 2006 Share November 26, 2006 I think without doubt, is250 is the obvious choice. For 7K less, u get a 2.5 engine as opposed to 1.8 engine. IMHO, is250 offers a more powerful & quiet drive, definitely will eat the C180 any time. Furthermore, is250 more reliable & value-for-money.
Shinichi21 Neutral Newbie November 26, 2006 Share November 26, 2006 when did u ask for this price? i went jus now, was given 129k for future stock and 127k if take the car from current stock, which means if u take whichever exterior n interior colour that is available now. 122k for the IS250 will be good. a very good car to drive, i testdrive it today. Beanoyip Turbocharged August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 But still you don't get the quality and built of a german marque.
Edison Neutral Newbie August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 By the way, you can get the 1.8T special ed at $128K!!! Is it a very good bargain? I really need some help here..thanks
Verve 1st Gear August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 i would take the a4 for a few reasons at this price bracket, i certainly want to drive something a little special not some jap upsized premium toyota - not that toyota is bad german teutonic build quality and cabin design of the audi with that audi logo makes you feel like you are driving something special. but me being me as audis do depreciate a fair bit, i rather pick a 3 year old a6 1.8t at under 80k or a saab 9-5 (3-4 year old) at 60ish k. apart from the low price, i get to change ride again a few years later and sustain lower losses. The01 Neutral Newbie August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 Edison, It is a good bargain @ $128k for A4 1.8T with S-line. The new A5 using the same engine is priced at S$180k. If you love to mod, the A4 1.8T will certainly 'oblidge'. BTW, I think there'll be a new A4 model coming next year....have yet to confirm the exact date, though. Cheers! Cantona156 Clutched August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 The A4 comes with CVT. Can't mod much. Torque limited to 310Nm or so.
Check13 3rd Gear August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 i think if u see the new C class, you'll change your mind. I just saw the real car and it's very swee and muscular! Confirm look wise beat all the other conti brands in this segment.
Redboy 1st Gear August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 But still you don't get the quality and built of a german marque. hmm. That depends on the individual. If looking for status, go for C180, forget about IS250 since it looks like toyota. If looking for power & reliability, IS250 is the choice. If looking for something special & unique, Audi is the one. Edison Neutral Newbie August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 Does anyone know what's the price for the C180, i mean the actual price C&C will let go at after bargaining from the list price.
Sevnrg Neutral Newbie August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 is250. build quality in way up at/over mercedes league love the soft hugging seats. interior is great, styling is also great
Nazaki Clutched August 11, 2007 Share August 11, 2007 In my personal view, I still grade audi a lvl lower than Mercedes & BMW. I put Lexus in the middle. In the big car league, Lexus LS460, Mercedes S350, BMW 735Li, Audi A8. I love the design of the A8 alot alot, but I'll never buy a A8 as Audi just never gives the branding as much as a Mercedes, Beemer and even Lexus I feel. None of the ppl I know who can afford such cars ever consider an Audi. They will go for the towkay cars like Merc & BMW.. The same goes for Saab. There's more Volvo buyer than Saab. Well, ALL THE ABOVE ARE JUST MY VIEW. It doesn't mean Audi or Saab is lousy, its a brand just for people who wish to own something different from the crowd. Like drinking Martell instead of Hennessy. ↡ Advertisement
