Was wndering when is the new batch coming in?

Any ideas?

Have you tried going to showroom & ask ? Or at least call them & ask. If SE don't want to tell, speak to the SM directly.

They more to promote the 2 models that they bring in for now.

Not likely. SPB is Skoda's flagship product. Just that the SEs may not know the shipment date & I don't think CA mgmt is revealing anything to their SEs.

 

That's why I suggested that you talk to the SM directly.

 

Which 2 models are they promoting ? You mean the Octavia ? I don't see any promotion happening anyway.

 

The Fabia is dead & definitely not moving. Probably gathering dust & rust in their warehouse.

Apparently the vrs is open, if it has not been taken yet. But I heard no test drive

 

As for the SPB, if CA (regardless of who) is not telling, let's see if Koolaba has anything to 'reveal'

 

Regading the Fabias, some bro here mentioned that it has been sitting in there since '04

Actually, Skoda sells quite a 3 main models Fabia, Octavia & SPB but in many trimmings & guise. There's the combi, 3 door version etc.

 

Its just that CA choose not to bring in too many options. Probably because the marque is not established here & not many buyers. So it doesn't make sense to bring it in because of the lack of demand.

 

I'm sure that if you're really interested in the SPB, make it known to them & they'll do something about it.

last word back in september was the new superb be arriving late november / december. it will be priced at $90K over.

mostly would buy if the car design is ok.

The Fabias are MY2003 and inherited from the previous distirbutor JTA. All these cars are pre-FL.

As you may have known, I have pulled a plug to the Skoda Group Purchase. Although the beneficiaries have given thumbs-up to this initiative, it has caused some unhappy vibes in the CA sales team. Moreover, it has not received the full support from the sales team or the management.

 

Unless individuals in the sales team have attained a certain level of maturity to understand the mechanisms and forces of healthy inter-competition instead of blatant displays of favourtism to a particular member of the sales team, unless the management appreciates the fact that the Skoda Group Purchase copliments their efforts to promote the Skoda brand in Singapore, I will not venture to initiate another exercise in futility.

 

Many of us were terribly upset over several fiascos in the SOG forums which took place in the past few months. It has been hard work for the moderators who spent much effort cleaning up the mess in the SOG forums, which could be broadly categorised as public displays of dissatisfaction over the Skoda Group Purchase.

 

The situation will remain as such unless things turn for the better.

The state of things is quite sad and do hope that this will come to pass. In the near future, hope to see better specs with more competitive pricing and healthier stock holding and choices. Following the forum, I feel that there just too many issues for potential buyers to grapple with - time for a new dealer.

the price and service does affect my final decision.

They have to be competitve in term of price mostly..cant use

volks price as a guide....

As a potential buyer, go tell them in the face !! Wake them up a bit.

 

Just in case they think that the current owners are the only ones stirring up all this sh1t & we're just a bunch of trouble-makers that is spoiling the market for them instead of helping to create marque awareness.

 

They can't do anything to you if they want your business.
