Cool_tiger Neutral Newbie October 19, 2006 Share October 19, 2006 Hi, Any G Punto owners out there? can give your review on the car especially in the 5 areas: 1. Price 2. Power 3. Consumption 4. Workmanship/ reliability 5. Car service by TT I have tested drive the car but find that it is underpower and handling not so good. Beside that I was told that the car service by TT was not so good. Your advice pls. Cheers. ↡ Advertisement
Furrynadz 5th Gear October 19, 2006 Share October 19, 2006 went see see other day - for 58k (add 4k for sunroof n moonroof), its quite pricy - power is poor for a car that size with a 1.4 engine only 70+ horses, expect to be eaten up down left right by lorries, they got engines 3x ur size, torque 4x urs, and even twice more horses than u -on paper look attractive, in real world i doubt so - vehicle seems slipshodly put together, go poke around in depth to notice why -no comment on service u want handling, get a citroen/peugeot/renault/ford for that price range

Hicksau Neutral Newbie October 23, 2006 Share October 23, 2006 citroen/peugeot ? think they've overpriced those rides ... their price for same category cars is the same as the "listed" g punto price..
Contax 1st Gear October 23, 2006 Share October 23, 2006 You're obviously very bias against fiat don't you?I guess you have not own a fiat before and not to mention driven it for a prolong period. All those perception of yours about Fiat quality and suchs are in a bygone era. You lightly compare it to a lorry..may I quote" expect to be eaten up down left right by lorries, they got engines 3x ur size, torque 4x urs, and even twice more horses than u " .......are you kidding us my friend? Most if not all of us here drive a car which doesn't has what you mention above. I can only said that the handling is superb for a 1.4L conti car when you cruise along NSH. Let's be fair with your remarks .
Hicksau Neutral Newbie October 23, 2006 Share October 23, 2006 ur fren ? basically every car dealer here has rumours/gossip of certain bad service or whatever .. ? as far as i can see, they've been pretty helpful enough .. its more than adequate than quite a lot of car dealers here already irregardless PI/authorised ones.. Alex31 Neutral Newbie November 22, 2006 Share November 22, 2006 Dear drivers, I have confirmed my order today becos of a good deal & also my CFO was very please with the car due to the make & safety feature. But I have a few questions for the driver here & hope you can answer some of them as I need to give my answer to SE tomorrow. 1) Chose between a manual & Auto Wanted a manual but my CFO also driving so may have to stick with a auto. I also like the dualogic cos still can shift the gear like arcade game type. But the cost of maintenance + repair will be higher? My se told me auto FC is better than manual. is that true? Need to fork out 3k more... 2) Ask for Abarth's rim logo & he told me no more already & need to book online. Is that true? Can I still get to purchase somewhere or I can ask him to throw in? 3) Ask for exhaust extension muffler but he said have not come in yet & cannot throw in? Is there any bro already got the muffler somewhere else? How much? 4) Was told to sign another pare value transfer form but I told him I dun own a car & ask him why i need to sign. He said that it is just the LTA regulation? 5) I was told I will get a Cat E instead of a Cat A, is there any different for me as an owner beside that TTS has to fork out more money? No effect on us? Please help to answer my qns. :P P.S: Sorry to use your thread, cannot post till I have 15 posting Thank you
