Elantrahatch Neutral Newbie October 18, 2006 Share October 18, 2006 I think Mit. and Hyundai uses the same ATF. I got mine from this place called Song Yi @ Veersamy Road. Per litre is less then S$10.00 if i am not wrong. If you are interested, maybe you could PM me and I will go find the addy for you. On an additional note, the last time when I flushed my Matrix ATF, it costs around less then S$100.00 at CAS. Perhaps if you are keen, check out with them. I did mine at Khang Auto @ Sin Ming. Patrickquek Neutral Newbie October 18, 2006 Author Share October 18, 2006 Thanks all for your prompt and helpful response! Forgot to mention that my ride is Tuscani 2.0A. Elantrahatch: Is yours a drain & top-up or a full flush (which uses 10L or so of ATF)? When i checked with CAS they only use mineral, not synthetic ATF. Patrickquek Neutral Newbie October 20, 2006 Author Share October 20, 2006 I was quoted $17.50 for RP ATF at Earthworm (Dawson Place Shopping Ctr). Got my RP 5W30 engine oil at $12.90/l there. I called Song Yi - its $25 for 4L of Hyundai SPIII ATF. Another $35 for ATF filter + gasket. I assume its mineral and not the fully synthetic type... Pisces69 6th Gear October 20, 2006 Share October 20, 2006 (edited) As far as I know, ALL RP engine oil & ATF is fully synthetic. I used to get my RP from the importer, Pacific Petroleun, Mr. Brown is the boss. But his prices keep going up since a couple of years back & I found a kaki in here who can also supply at a better price. U can also try MX Trdg as I see them mentioned several times as RP supplier. I got a couple of bottles of RP ATF left but wil change to the Toyota ATF for my next flush cos their price is better. I am moving away from RP cos their prices keep rising. Maybe cos they getting too popular? But if u using Diaqueen then u CANNOT use RP ATF anyway cos it's Dexron III. Last time my Hyundai was using Dexron ATF so I cud use RP. Genie47 1st Gear October 20, 2006 Share October 20, 2006 SPIII is specified by MMC to be a synthetic blend on paper. If they list it as SPIII it must follow the minimum requirements of SPIII by MMC. Therefore, there is no such thing as "mineral SPIII". ↡ Advertisement
