Hi gurus

Any thoughts on German Maestro EV series component (Front) with CS series component (Rear) with Machtig DSP MAC400 PRO?

Thanks.

If you are buying new, just go for a 3-way active setup and forget the rear.

Every installer will let you use your own cables.

The 80PRS is 4 x 50 PMPO peak music power but only about 4 x 18 RMS real music power.

The Morel Virtus is one of the best component speakers and you can drive it with the 4 x 18 but it will not do it justice.

It needs at least 4 x 80 and you can look at the Helix G Four.

Going for this combination except using Morel Virtus component speakers. I want a simple setup (i.e. 2-way active, no need for active sub) since it is a small car. So I suppose the 80PRS can run them directly (4 x 50w) and then I will run the TA function to tune it.

Any installer that will allow me to bring my own cables? I'm hoping to avoid paying for branded/over-priced cabling.

Thanks bro. I will look around for a 4-channel amp. 👍

People may ask why I always recommend Helix. Am I a car audio salesman or do I own a string of car hifi shops. I do not. I own a massage parlour only for good looking young ladies and a used car dealership for the best used cars in Singapore.

So why I always recommend Helix? Because I assume everyone is like me. Want the best bang for buck car audio but with a limited budget.

Now if people got an unlimited budget then I would never recommend Helix. I would suggest Brax. Brax and Helix come from the same company Audiotec Fisher and Helix gives you a taste of the high end within a budget but Brax gives you the full flavour.

Just looking at their products you can see the same DNA but the Brax uses far superior materials but the price of the Brax is top end but its not even the most expensive.
