New Skoda SUV - Octavia SCOUT !!!

Seems like the Skoda has rolled out an SUV based on the Octavia Mk II chasis called the Octavia Scout.

Definately better than a roomster yeah ? If same price as a Tucson... Then would be a real steal...

overall it is a nice car but with only 4581mm of length it seem too elongated and spoilt the overall look, more like a mpv than suv and the wheelbase is very short as well wonder will it fit comfortably

From the front it looks good & sporty but from the side, it looks a bit like an enlarge combi ! Still find the butt a bit too long.

 

Looking at the way CA priced the current cars, I would say there's no chance at all for it to be at Tucson level (if it ever comes in). Maybe they might bring in 2 to test water but "NO TEST DRIVE ALLOWED" .

Yeah. The backside does seem a bit long.

 

would be much nicer if it had a more compact ass like the Tucson look.

 

Or if it was to have such a big ass... It should have supported 3 row seating.. ie: 7 seats.

 

I guess, Skoda was trying to keep up with the original spirit of the Octavia. Which is well known for its LAARRRGGE boot storage space.
