I believe you're better off and cheaper to buy from overseas internet for brand Goodridge. They have a very wide range covering almost every cars.

I was asking around some time back and was qouted $500 for set of 4 and was told that high price beacause of pressure test and so on.........

IMHO, it is also safer to buy off the shelf and tested (TUV,etc) product as brakes hose is a critical part.

Yes , the brake pressure can easily goes up to 3,000psi. Always purchase those that are tested to acceptable standards, better to be safe than sorry.

depends on your ride ... they would be able to custom the holes at a price not too X. ... had done it to some of my rides before as I was not driving the common cars last time. Prices should not set you back more than 300 for all 4.

3000psi? Oh dear, then many manufacturers cannot hit this, such as the famous Earl's speedflex hoses. [:(] Better warn the UK users as i noticed many racers are using them. [:(] I need to change my rubber hoses too, pretty sure they won't hold 3000psi. [:(]

Thank you for confirming that. Well, i used to work with air assist hydraulic brakes using the 3 brake pump/booster system, and only they to date i experienced, managed to hit the rating you mentioned. We use this mainly to adjust the load sensing valve.

But if its gonna be true on most passenger vehicles, someone has to mail several brake caliper manufacturing companies, as some like wilwood dynalite, are not designed to operate beyond 1200psi. It is too shocking for me, that as reputable as goodridge, most of their 600 series(inclusive of 611) hose for performance hydraulic brake and clutch systems, has the working pressure below the industrial average rated 5000-10,000psi. [:(] Still, i thank you for the valuable lesson learnt. Tomorrow will be a fine day for the guys to change the goodridge on the arnage back to stock, presumably working pressure of 5000 to 10,000psi. TRD @ Sin Ming sells goodridge SS braided hose for $300+ almost $400 i think. It's good because other than the steel braided coating, there's another plastic kinda material coating to prevent more expansion. But PRO-RS doesn't have em i think.
