Emissions hurting Turbo car production?

Actually alot Turbo cars will be kenna of this. No long, only the desiel cars will be come up turbo and in fact they can be very fast.

And I learn something new from you guys everyday (well, actually I learnt quite a bit of stuff over the MCF today) - I really wasn't aware that Turbo's had that serious emmission problems.

 

Then again, the only turbo I was aware of being killed off was the last air-cooled 911 Turbo (always be my fav) and that was due to some silly noise regulation in Europe.....

But then again, if TDi's end up being the only turbo's around, that means we'll hardly see any of them, won't we, seeing that they don't do too well over here, for obvious reasons.....that's sad....

Turbos have bad emissions mainly due to the over rich mixture necessary for additional piston cooling thus when the engine is cold the emissions is kaput

In Euro, TDC cars have been came out quite sometimes. just think of those wat clean air standards are formed by the Euro, and they products TDC cars can meet the standard. TDC cars can even bit petrol cars it wasn't news in Euro. Let wait when to be Aisa countries.

The thing about Diesel cars is the source of fuel must be clean as well. I believe Euro Diesel is much cleaner than those refined here in Asia, thus the worse emission standards for our diesel vehicles.

Yes, and I dun understand that S'pore always say important of standard, but just only the diesel's emission standard already can't follow the Euro.

Like HK, can't follow the standard (we dun have refinment factory), then change the diesel cars to Gas one
