The true nature of Chery QQ

while it looks very spectacular, we dont really know what happened. Because the truck has a high centre of gravity, it might be easier to overturn than other vehicles, esp if it was turning during the collision, even a slight knock might send it over the edge.

nothing against the QQ though, it's a nice n cute car, just my thoughts on the pic :)

thanks for pointing this out.. for now, i prefer not to comment directly anything related to QQ...

imagine one is driving at high speed, doing cornering.... then another car bang you at the side... tip and toppled over.... rem, a truck has higher CG and etc... along with the natural movement and momentum of the cornering.. there you have it...

Maybe they could perform a real road test to verify it? [sly]

Neutral Newbie

Sure is super to be able to knock and turn the lorry to its side. Think the QQ not usable anymore after the knock.. the front almost broke into pieces.. but seems like nothing else except the front is damaged.

Yar lor.. maybe its those pissed off Chevrolet Top CEO n Executive wanna chao mia the Chery QQ cuz latter copy their Spark ma.. [laugh]

so maybe they purposely set up a 3rd party crash test, rigged the QQ by tinkering with it structurally and spread the stinked report throughout the industry.. den it get bashed left right center in MCF [lipsrsealed] see it worked [laugh]

or maybe the above is a counter advertisment by Chery that was set up to look like an accident..

hehe so much conspiracy theories [:p]

I think this car doesn't have crumple zone, that's why its score big fat zero star in NCAP. Car maybe intact but passenger get higher chance of serious whiplash injury.
