I didnt think that Toyota..famed for quality would discriminate at that level. I think if Toyota is indeed selling Singaporeans a poorer quality version Camry in Singapore..alnd of the most expensive cars in the world......then they are force feeding SGporeans vomit..and from the number of Camrys on the road...we are are lapping it up quite willingly. ES & Camry?..of course cannot compare...(tho I think the Camry looks mush better then the fudgy looking ES.but thats another story) Comparing a Camry & a Camry....Ignoring "Made in Thailand" stereotypes...I doubt Toyota would allow the "Asian version" of their flagship car to be a "lesser version" then the "Japanese version"...in terms of Quality. I like the JP front light and TH rear :-) http://toyota.jp/camry/index.html http://www.toyota.co.th/red/th/model/camry/camry_home.htm frankly, if you ask me, there's not much difference between the two. but if i had to choose i'd pick the jap camry. saw it the other day at a carpark and it looked very much nicer than the current camry. had some markX and mazda 6 look about it when i saw it in the flesh. but like i said, honestly, when i read this thread i had trouble recalling whether the one i saw at the carpark was a jap or thailand model. the only significance is that it was way different from the current camry.
