Spade Neutral Newbie September 14, 2006 Share September 14, 2006 Has anybody installed Pivot SPARKEarth? Is it of any use or any good? My question, why would pivot come up with all these good sounding products and Japan some more if it is simply snake oil? ↡ Advertisement

Wl3gan Neutral Newbie September 15, 2006 Share September 15, 2006 It works well for me. I suppose you are saying the small (not transperant)with a blue LED box. My friend driving Nissan Sunny also give good command about this thing

Zrun Neutral Newbie September 15, 2006 Share September 15, 2006 The question is you need to know it works, apply some physics and car knowledge to validate it. Don't blindly buy because of testimonies. There are parts that are proven to be effective, like light pulleys, but there are still risks involved. Spade Neutral Newbie September 15, 2006 Author Share September 15, 2006 no, check it out http://www.pivotjp.com/product/flame-sparkearth-e.html
Funkyjazz Neutral Newbie September 16, 2006 Share September 16, 2006 I have install it together with the Pivot Spark(red box). I can feel the car more responsive and the accelerator is much lighter. I don't need to step a lot to move off. Correct me if I am wrong, Pivot Spark purpose is having a capacitor to store current for your ignition coil. Pivot SparkEarth is just another voltage stabiliser specific for the spark plug to provide stable current. One interesting finding, after installing the above, my ICE improve quite a lot. I am very happy. (wondering.....so no need Pivot Sound)
Spade Neutral Newbie September 16, 2006 Author Share September 16, 2006 thanks for your feedback. I guess it is perhaps only a minimal improvement at best.

Mikeyeo Clutched September 19, 2006 Share September 19, 2006 (edited) I have installed Pivot brand 5 grounding cables, another 4 for each of the high performance spark plugs and a voltage stabilizer in my Mitsubishi Lancer. I have also changed the original spark plug cables to Pivot high performance with 3 cores in each of the 4 cables. The car is now very light, quick response at pick-up with just a light throttle on the accelerator and more power. I spent about S$250.00+. Funkyjazz Neutral Newbie September 19, 2006 Share September 19, 2006 Pivot Spark+ SparkEarth cost me $230, include installation. I have try a few brand of vs, eventually, still Japan brand can feel the most improvement.

Upguy1 Clutched September 28, 2006 Share September 28, 2006 dunno whether my car is compatible with red box...... . i heard its compatible only with certain makes and engine..
Kwongwing Neutral Newbie September 30, 2006 Share September 30, 2006 I believe that the red box (Raizin Type S) is compatible with most car models whilst the yellow box (Type V) is designed to suit only some cars eg WRX. I drive an Estima and have myself been thinking of installing the red box version
Undead Neutral Newbie October 23, 2006 Share October 23, 2006 Just added the SparkEarth and VS and it is definitely smoother and lighter on foot. At least for a short moment now. Not sure how it will fare 1 week later..... FYI, I am driving a Renault GS2.
