Good to be clear. May I trouble you to check if they are exporting or scraping it, so that I may ask you for parts (am familiar with the scraping requirements), on the same note, you can also further push them for some more goodies, if they are exporting.

From the way you are describing, he is exporting. In a scrap situation, the scrapyard only requires, the engine, chassis and 2 wheels for you to tow into the yard, and they pay you S$30 instead of S$60 if you drive in.
