hi,

sounds like you are staying somewhere on the southern side of singapore...

don't worry about driving...since not familiar with road...stick to the left lane of roads/expressway. Travelling on expressway is easier as you wouldn't miss the exit that easily.

Suggest you try what i always do...topo using street directory. Stop at various points to comfirm direction. If not, you can always try to memorise the no. of turns/junctions/overhead bridges you need to pass.

Think of it as driving in a foreign country and 'topo-ing' around the area to get to some places of attraction. Try it, it's an adventure... [thumbsup][thumbsup][laugh][laugh]

cheers..

As for your car, monitor the situation for a few days and if the problems persist, bring it for a check up by the mechanic.

What is your ride? Auto or Manual?

If your rear left tyre mounted the kerb while turning, it depends on how fast you are making the turn. If you are going quite slow which i think you did, then u shouldn't worry much.

What do you mean by used your handbrake at the traffic light? Do you mean you engage your handbrake at the traffic light and when going off, you forgot to disengage? If this is the case, should be still alright if you dun do this often...

Hope to see ya at our regular meetups.

he he he, ops [sweatdrop] sorry I give you the wrong idea [:/] when I say I one year claim 3 times, let me put it this way, I claim 3 times a year on another 3 person car.... cos maybe I very slow on the road and they are abit fast so most of the time they "kiss" me, the worst case i had is this person knock into my rear bumper and sent my up the road kerb. [dizzy]

cheers

It is their fault for not observing safe following distance. I hope u wun get to experience such unpleasant stuff often. Bad for your car and not to mention your body too!

Take care, my friend!

ha ha, thank you... is ok for me cos i get a replacement car when i sent the car for repair, but is the going to the IDAC part makes me want to [whip][knife][rifle] that person who "kiss" my butt..... I went to IDAC so often untill, the claim advisor know my vehicle number and name by heart..... i tell you, that's the most malu part...

cheers

karen

PS: the best part is that the claim advisor tell my "karen, I have not even close your last claim and now you are back for more??"

Wow!!! Impressed with your knowledge. [thumbsup][thumbsup]

If my tires mounted the curb, my thoughts will be on the condition of the 17" wheels.
