Number plate seal inspection for OPC

Road tax renewal requires a valid number plate seal inspection certificate

 

Can anyone let me know where to get this?

Do i have to go to Sin Ming? Should i book any time slot in advance?

How long it might take?

Just called LTA.

 

The CS officer said we take the car to any VICOM centre, no booking required and the cost of the certificate will be $10.

This can be done from Mondays to Saturdays 9AM to 5PM.

 

I will be going to Kakhi Bukit this saturday. Will update how long it takes for the inspection after completion.

Went to VICOM Kakhi Bukit on Saturday 3PM.

The place was empty, paid $10.50 at the counter and the inspection was over in less than 10 minutes. Paid my road tax at a nearby counter.

 

PS:While paying road tax they didnt ask me for insurance.
