Polkadots 2nd Gear September 5, 2006 Share September 5, 2006 (edited) Bro you r giving him racing tips when he still has to get use to gears and clutch in a jam situtation. huh? tot he seasoned driver looking to improving his technics and ride quality. but can lah.....practise a few times should be able to get it. actually my pte driving instructor kinda demo-ed to me. din really bothered as I was only interested in getting the license. Only used it when I got my first ride, a suzuki swift gti. after that no more chance..... Edited September 5, 2006 by Polkadots
Dumb 4th Gear September 5, 2006 Share September 5, 2006 Ya he seasoned driver. Now he 5th gear. May be he new to MT. So when jam, his engine cough cough. I always free gear in jam situation. I enter 1st gear, move and free gear and wait to stop again. Surely got to stop. Otherwise, from free gear, enter 2nd gear and let it inch forward. If I know I got to stop again, free gear 2nd gear and roll until have to brake. But sometimes, use clutch to control if dont want to free gear. Weixiang_06 Clutched September 5, 2006 Author Share September 5, 2006 corrections... not cough cough... but i just dun like the feeling of unsmoothness.. i very pai kuan one.. just that noot as silky smooth as compared to normal driving... i just dun like to use clutch that often, scared it will wear off prematurely... mmz... looks like i was wrong... seasoned driver? i just dun like free gear either... maybe i too used to my old marchie (manual) style of driving to fully appreciate my current ride... i din expect such problems in my old marchie.. but good thing is my current ride is part of me le.... =)
