Although the body kit may take 1km/L away, I believe still quite within the 1.6L engine to deliver reasonable FC. Parts are almost all the same as 1.1L model. Go ahead to test drive thoroughly. Check for worn piston rings, shock-absorbers, wheel alignment... Merry Chrsitmas to you

Wah, I didnt know bodykit will reduce mileage. I tot it was suppose to increase aerodynamics thus imporve consumption? no? [shocked]

Btw does anyone has a good mechanic to recommend? Can pm me? I rather let the mechanic test drive the car n check for the worn out parts :D

A Merry Christmas to ALL!!!

bodykits add weight to the car and FC will suffer. in spore, no need to talk about real aerodynamics because there is really no way to go fast

Ermm. It's like u buying a sofa with the leather on it....

99% of bodykits are kitted up which will be very difficult to unfix. More work is needed and thus more monies involved

I dun think the dealer will bother to de-kit the car for you. Its either u look for other car with orginal kit OR u can self de-kit later.

my sis is driving one '06 1.4l 3dr. Power is gd when u are driving alone or with a front passenger. but when there is 3 person in a car. it really crawls... not too sure about the 1.6l version that u are looking at. maybe it's better. try driving with wife and dealer as ur passenger during test drive. FC wise I would say its pretty not bad. $25 of 92petrol can fill half a tank and clock about 200km +- with 70% city driving.

1.1 and 1.3 are SOHC engine

1.4 and 1.6 are DOHC engine

Auto and manual cannot differentiate by no. of doors, but easily by the shift stick.

There are 1.3A and 1.6M with 3 doors and 1.3A and 1.6A with 5 doors

Engine no. will tell you the cc

3drs only comes in 1.6L.. My previous ride was a getz too.. It's a good car and if you're into modding, it's a toy to play around! 3drs manual is quite powerful, but for getz the only down thing is the boot space..

Looking to get a 3-Dr 1.6M as a OPC to zip around during the weekends.

There are not many around and one of them is the Getz. Planning to go for a test drive soon but first any feedback on it?

Getz 1.6 my choice too, if getting an OPC for weekends usage
