Hi all,

Some updates from my SE. CA will be placing indents for the FL Superb soon. If there is no delay with the shipment, the new shipment should reach our shores in December.

To cater to the preferences of serious Superb buyers, CA would like to gather information on the following:

1. Manual Transmission

If there is a minimum order of 5 units, CA will place an order for the manual units. The manual model will need to go through LTA homologation. Cost is involved in this exercise. As such, 5 is the minimum quantity before CA deems feasible to bring in this model.

Buyers of the manual Superb will have to place a deposit for the vehicle, which they must specify the choice of colour.

2. Beige Interior

Latest update. The beige interior is only offered for Superb in Comfort trim and above. Nevertheless, CA is still discussion with the factory whether the beige interior option can be specified for our local Classic trim.

3. Choice of Colour

For those who have been considering to get Superbs in certain colours which are never sold in Singapore, you can indicate your choice of colour. Deposits must be placed in advance.

For those of us who have decided to get a FL Superb, please PM me with your requests, preferences. My SE will try his best to put forward individual requests to the management, so that you are one step closer to your dream vehicle.

Just curious and pardon my ignorance, looking at many of your posting seem like you are in this line of business, does CA has a buy back program or can you feedback.

Hi Ivan,

I am not in this line of business. Hence I cannot answer your question.

However based on the experiences of existing Skoda owners who change their rides for newer ones, my SE will try to secure the best possible price for the old ride.

Yes, absolutely. But the company should do more then just relying on the SE. The SE is an individual like you and me, and I believe I can and did better in the form of trading he is doing.

hmm...good...2-tone black-beige is good news in Singapore luxury car context. Might help Superb more competitive. There's a reason why most other popular large 2.0l-2.4l cars either comes with that or have that option despite being more prone to get dirty.

According to the current brochures, local and overseas, beige interior option is only available on Comfort trim Superbs. Let us hope that CA is successful in negotiating with the factory for the beige interior option to be installed on the FL Classic trim Superbs which will be sold here.

Otherwise buyers who want to get Superbs with beige coloured interior must be prepared to pay a premium for the Comfort trim, with the additional equipment. If the demand is strong for the Comfort trim, I will help to convey this information to CA.
