1fast1 Supersonic March 2, 2016 Share March 2, 2016 (edited) RON100 felt better (than Shell V power from SG) on my M5 that had been chipped. Forced induction cars, especially the tuned ones and even the stock ones that are JDM (because Japan gets better petrol than us) should see a benefit. It's the Petron at Geylang Patah. Highly accessible. Only problem is the very stupid 3/4 tank rule. Thank the gahmen for that. Kman08 3rd Gear March 4, 2016 Share March 4, 2016 Ron 100, 98, nitro, 95, 92.. Can your car go more than 90km on the PIE? Probably can but limited to 8 traffic cam flash flash. What's the point? The thrill of reaching 90 faster :)

It's just a fine not jailActually by definition it is the blardy gahmen trying to stop me. I have never tried to cheat on the 3/4 tank rule. All I want is for Sg to also bring in 100 RON. I don't mind throwing money at the stupid gahmen for it.

Kangadrool Supersonic March 4, 2016 Share March 4, 2016 (edited) I prefer to pump 92 and save the $$$ for a bottle of 100Plus at the petrol station. Edited March 4, 2016 by Kangadrool
KelvinAng_164458 Clutched March 7, 2016 Share March 7, 2016 RON 100, RON 98, or RON 95, it doesn't make much different if you are driving conventional vehicles on road. RON 100 is mean for higher compression engine, normal engine don't get any advantage on it. It will just burn a hole on your wallet..
Hoonigan 1st Gear March 15, 2016 Share March 15, 2016 Got so much money to burn RON 100 ? How come never see you use the money to buy a more powerful car in the first place ? If you buy a more powerful car, 92 RON also will move quicker and faster than your neighbour's.

Mrmilktooth Supercharged March 30, 2016 Share March 30, 2016 the new mazda engine running at compression of 14:1, are there any requirement to use higher RON fuel ? manual states 95 good enough.. if your are feeling rich.....
Heman75 Supercharged March 30, 2016 Share March 30, 2016 Always follow the recommendation in the manual .. no point having anything more than stated in there. The car is designed according to what is stated in the manual.
Hoonigan 1st Gear March 31, 2016 Share March 31, 2016 The Nissan GTR owners manual .. : Use unleaded premium gasoline with an octane rating of at least 93 AKI (Anti- Knock Index) number (Research octane number 98) to maximize vehicle performance. If 93 AKI number (Research octane number 98) premium gasoline is not available, you may use unleaded premium gasoline with an octane rating of at least 91 AKI number (Research octane number 96), but you may notice a decrease in performance. So.. doesn't damage the car if your car is NOT even a GTR or any performance piece of metal if you drop in a RON 95.
