very limited choice of LTA-approved muffler for 1.6L and below cars.... those performance and approved mufflers are mostly for those performance cars.

My ride 1.5 auto with HKS Silent Hi Power Exhaust

I didnt felt any lost at the low end (Stock air box)

In fact after changing to enclosed pod i felt improvement from low to high

 

My another friend (1.5 auto) also done the same air intake mod as me but on Supersprint he also praise it did improve on his ride as well

 

As for Apexi, Remus and Hotbits i had no comment as non of my 1.5 auto friends done that

Mine Swift 1.5

Fujitsubo would be my 1st choice

But it's not available for Swift 1.3/1.5

Talking about the sport, at the point of time when i bought the 1.5 last year, the Sport is still not available yet

Now its available and and it also much cheaper than what i had paid for my 1.5 previously due to COE

Bro... nevertheless... ur 1.5 still one of good rides as compare to others 1.5l on Singapore roads. No worries lah. With abit of mods, ur car is equally fast. My lancer sells now, I lugi till I nid to pull down my pants. hee hee

Seeking advice from experts here:

 

Recently after a trip back from Ipoh, I realized there are chao tar marks on my muffler(not tip, the box). Is this of any concern? I've been to many high speed trips up north before but this is the first time I see the burnt marks after I came back. Did not make any mods to my car before
