Lucien Neutral Newbie August 20, 2006 Share August 20, 2006 By changing a high flow muffler exhaust...etc u will kill your low end torque. Means you car will pick up like snail. You will only get more power boost upon high RPM levels like 4000rpm onwards. Worth to change? U think for yourself. Somemore your is auto. Can't drag. Lannix Neutral Newbie August 20, 2006 Share August 20, 2006 yeh, backpressure is impt 4 auto cars.. but i think as long as u dun de-cat should b no prob. ur cat has quite a bit of resitence 2 create that pressure gap 4 back pressure, changing 2 421 extracter will help though.. most stock extracters are designed 4 economy instead of gd air-flow

Koren Clutched August 20, 2006 Share August 20, 2006 if its a normal low rev engine(redline @ 6k) just use a 4-2-1 using a 4-1 might bring up ur peak hp to a higher rpm.. which ur engine cant utilise..
Sujoy Neutral Newbie August 20, 2006 Share August 20, 2006 Just for everyday driving, 2.5k to 3k rpm. Better to get in JB or do it in SG? Pricing is?
Koren Clutched August 20, 2006 Share August 20, 2006 jb is 1/2 the price.. for everyday driving better to remain stock.. haha.. or 4-2-1.. do not remove ur cat..

Koren Clutched August 21, 2006 Share August 21, 2006 if there's backfire.. most probably its not caused by back pressure.. you might be running too rich or super lean..
