even at $29k after whatever rebates, i have a feeling that it will be a tough sell. the competition from picanto and kelissa and maybe spark, is just too strong.

The back seat can flip up but it is held by only 2 pieces of metal. It's hard to explain. You probably got to go down and take a look at it.

When I first heard that this qq is coming to Singapore, I expected it to be selling at about 25k thereabouts. Never expected it be selling above 30k. At this price range, I think most people will definitely choose picanto, kelisa or spark. Even the slightly bigger wira is only 35k or 36k.

Now this is what I call competitive pricing. Apparently most consumers voted with their money and bought a Picanto/Getz instead.

 

And now with the Chevy Spark, things are just going to heat up

 

I wonder what binding terms and conditions are attached to that pricing. Anyone know the OMV for QQ?

 

add: Nvm I found it.OMV for 0.8l Manual QQ is $6431. Looks like the cheapest OMV still belongs to Perodua's Kelisa GX M at $5376.

 

 

wah like that the dealer cost $6431 x 2.35 = $15111 + COE cost $11900 = $27011.00

meaning every car they sell they make 2k nia?

 

compare to picanto OMV $7000?

 

$7000 x 2.35 = $16350 + COE cost $11900.00 = $28350.00 minus selling price $36.9k

profit 8.5k?

my manual picanto bought in 2004 omv was $6.8k,

so 6800 x 2.35 = $15980 + COE cost $21999 = $38k,

minus then selling price $42.9k,

i think it is the EZY shift version ... (+- N R) no D , it is a crutch-less manual,

 

For people who drive B4 other semi-auto, selespeed, Tiptronic car or Play initial D [arcarde game] , will find QQ's EZY-shift weird, normally "shift up(+)" is down while "Shift down(-)" is up.. it is totally the other way round !

yes, Japan NCAP. do a search. about the same standard as EuroNCAP.

no need auto version. i test drive the manual chery can change gears without using clutch up to 3rd gear. tiptronic...haha

looks like the omv increased from old the 7k to now 9k for auto.

the cost now is $33k for auto picanto, with a selling price of $36.9k.

can't remember if it's after rebates or not.....was at the showroom last month when 1 of my colleagues was interested in getting 1....at 1 time the auto was selling for 49.9k.....go bang wall ba...
