I won't be bothered if they are just hi-bye friends....those that just appear out of the blue and ask for your address. You somehow know they are just trying to make up the numberswhen they include you in the list. For some, I will still attend their wedding to give face and out of courtesy. Of course, $$ is important but I won't be particular about getting back my ang bow in this case....haha...

 

How about those people who invited you for their wedding before but didn't maintain contact that kind? Do you still invite them out of "coutesy"?

ya.. don understand these ppl... anyhow invite. like my frd's frd, I don even know her well n yet she invite me.. rolleyes.gif My frd said she just wan to fill the seats..

More like collecting ang pow.

Me only attend those friends I know for many years. So called "friends" I don't waste my time, they are just out to collect more ang pow. Getting married to them is like a business. unimpressed.gif

Dear all,

 

Been through quite a few wedding. When the bros here call me up for my address and want to mail me the invitation card, I would tell them don't need, just SMS me the date, venue and time will do.

 

As I got enough mails to go thru already .... and I don't have the card with me always. Unlike SMS .... it's in my phone and I can always see it.

 

Poll Question:

So just would like to find out how many of you here don't mind just having SMS as Invitation for wedding? Or do you expect a proper Invitation card to be mailed to you that kind.

I dont mind not having card. Informing me of the joyous event via SMS or fone is ok with me [:)]

 

As in .... if they let you choose ... card or SMS .... which would you prefer?

I kenna before. I wasn't close to the groom even while we were classmate. Then over 15yrs later, I recieve an invitation to his wedding dinner. Since I left school, I've moved twice and that fella can still track me down. Kowtow to him.... [shocked][shocked][shocked] I went to dinner anyway....for effort and friendship. After that, he disappear again.... [laugh][laugh][laugh]

 

It's either to make up the numbers or just for the ang pow.
