Daewoo badge

Saw an aveo hb with daewoo badge while at causeway towards singapore last week couldnt catch up cos stuck in jam. Anyone know where to get the badge and how much?

I think Chevrolet Aveo has the Daewoo version, called Daewoo Kalos.. Also saw a car with the Daewoo badging and Kalos badge near my house last time. http://images.google.com.sg/images?hl=en&q...F-8&sa=N&tab=wi

 

Check this out, if you search for Daewoo Kalos on google images it returns with a car with the same design as Chevrolet Aveo. So I think Daewoo bought the model from Chevrolet like how Perodua bought the Myvi design from Toyota (Passo)

It's the other way round. Daewoo Automotive Technologies went into trouble and GM bought them and hence why they are now called GMDAT. It was in Israel that GM decided to sell the DAT cars as Chevrolet and the marketing campaign worked as sells figures went up. So they figured if it worked in Israel, it will work somewhere else. So it did. Daewoo shed the DAT badge and went for the Chevrolet badge.

but in Korea, its still carrying the Daewoo brand, easier to sell mah, a local brand. Chevrolet is used outside of Korea as a rebadging "engineering" by GM. Guess GM marketing strategy...

bro, btwn a Daewoo & Chevy badging might be differnt. If not wrong, Daewoo badge is at the bonnet while Chevy is on their grille.
