Lightspeed Clutched August 1, 2006 Share August 1, 2006 Anybody know what happened to the old man who used to sell western food before they tore the place down? Other stuff popular there was the Claypot rice as well as the famous chicken wing/bee hoon stall... So far only know the chicken wing/bee hoon stall moved to the corner coffeeshop ... but clueless about the other 2 stalls mentioned ↡ Advertisement

Silver_blade Turbocharged August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 For Western food, I like Charcoal Grill (夜来香) from Queenstown food centre, along Margaret Drive. Generous portion and cheap. But the chef is a Western-food 'Nazi'....don't get in his way or irritate him by asking/saying bo liao comments or he may ask you to leave. Just order, tell him the table no. and go. His biz is good...only open from Mon-Thu, from around 6:30pm until around 9-10pm. Sometimes, waiting time can be as long as 45-60mins.
Silver_blade Turbocharged August 21, 2007 Share August 21, 2007 Quite dead...but the zi char stalls and the friend bee hoon/chicken stall are crowded most of the time.
