as for the other products, i'm very sure they are ard in the market.

There were many fake ICE in the market brought in from China. Recently, I was in Shenzhen and oh mine...there are so many of the Fake ICE,DVD,Tv & even IPOD.

just last month at Clementi Ave 6 carpark,two guys approached me and ask "uncle want to see something?" I thought got some PTMM in the van.When I approached the van,they open the door and show some very nice looking branded ICE products.Say they are delivery people from one particular company and "parkut"with the store to release extra units.Must quickly sell away and quoted me a price that is very tempting.Sensing something fishy, I said I am not interested in hifi's but they keep pestering and ask me to name my price.I told them I got no time and quickly drove off. Those products in their van looks like immitation goods but very nicely pack. I think they opperate like those in Bugis.

at that time i got it, it wasnt tat rampant yet. it was considered as "export set".

 

later after some research, i found out that that particular model was confirm FAKE... but some pple say that it was " the real thing", but sold thru the backdoor, thus its still real, but unofficial,

 

aiyah. those spkrs i used them for rear, they did an ok job, they are a good as spare spkrs

I saw P** Seng selling this Soundstream XSC.6 at a very cheap price. Wonder if this is a authentic one?

some guys strike again. Met this 2 guys in civic center carpark in woodlands. trying to sell me pure-acoustic 5 piece home theatre system. luckily i rejected, almost bought it.

beacuse that time they proclaim to be World No. 2 fake goods manufacturer... and no one dare to claim number 1.....

How can we tell if they are fakes. Is the sound quality of the fakes so bad that we can tell once we install it? If the sound quality is comparable, how can we tell unless we compare it with the authentic one?

 

But hor, if sound quality is comparable to the authentic ones, we don't lose much if we happen to buy some fakes at a much lower price

China is veri rampant with their fakes. From my previous trip, they have a complex where they will display goods of all kind.

 

You can even show them a mock-up or a pic....and tell them to do the exact thing for u....and you can collect it within a day.

 

That includes chips dat goes into the making of your real I.C.E.

Yup, happened to me one day at my home MSCP. A van went pass and stopped in front of my car and ask me if I want to buy some home entertainment set. Said that they have got extra as some customers last minute don't want. They say can even sell me cheap cheap.
