hi

im confused with the license point system

well, i was booked for speeding.. 8 points in oct 04 n 8 points in nov 04

so i nid to wait for two years b4 i regain these 16 points back rite?

but kena 6 points speeding in april 06

so now..i should haf only 2 poins left..rite??

but i juz checked online with govt EDDIES..apparently i only haf my april 06 6points offence listed..my two 04 offenses are not listed ...

so how many points left??

2 points becoz i haf three offences within 2 years???

or 18points left becoz my two 04 offences are erased becoz i got a clean one year of driving(05 was clean..and according to EDDIES.."A motorist who maintains a 12-month period free of offences with demerit points from the date of last offence, will have all his previous points cancelled from his record." )??

so which is which???

*Confused*

side track abit, but for those stationary speed cams along expressway, say, PIE, the speed limit shows 80kmh, but what exactly is the speed beyond the legal limit before the cameras kick into action?

also, are those cams able to take highspeed multiple-shots of say, 3 cars speeding at 120kmh with safety distance of 1-car length?
