Octopus 3rd Gear July 20, 2006 Share July 20, 2006 Depend on the weight of your car and the type of handling you'd prefer. Should be around 220 kpa, plus/minus.
Skyline_wj Neutral Newbie July 20, 2006 Author Share July 20, 2006 oic..i drving sunny fl.. can gav me agar-agar rate? front= ? back= ? jus nice/comfort can liao..now very bumpy
Octopus 3rd Gear July 21, 2006 Share July 21, 2006 It would be better to refer to the recommended tyre pressure of Sunny, then adjust from there. You can try front 220kpa and back 210kpa. Adjust to suit your preference.

Abbess Neutral Newbie July 21, 2006 Share July 21, 2006 I'm using 15" my manual recommends 220 but I usually increase by 10kpb more
Dumb 4th Gear July 21, 2006 Share July 21, 2006 I tink tyre pressure should depend on the weight of the car rather than the size of the tyre. Best to follow the car manual. Best is also to follow the manual's recommended size if you are concerned with petrol consumption. I believe manufacturer must have tested and tested what is the best configuration for the car with respect to tyres etc.

Watwheels Supersonic July 28, 2006 Share July 28, 2006 may i know wats the suitable pressure to pump?for a 195/60/15 G3 tire? pls advise.. jus changed yesterday, fell abit'wrong' bumpy leh... Did u stick to the recommended size of the tyres or did u 'upgrade' to a bigger rim size. If u 'upgrade' surely bumpy. If u used back the same tyre size look at your user manual or there's a sticker somewhere on your car with recommended tyre preesure. If u've tried all of the above, u can try pumping Nitrogen into your tyres. It worked for mine, the ride is less bumpy & more comfy.
Dumb 4th Gear July 29, 2006 Share July 29, 2006 I think you pumping to much air. That may be good for fuel but not the tyres or handling.
