Anyone tried the Autoglym detailing Parlor at Cactus Rd (Yio Chu Kang area)? Very near my home and thinking of letting them do steam cleaning of my engine.

Anyone know the prices as well?? [;)]

Mine is the Steam Dream, the yello one on the TV. Powerful enuf to steam but would need Power Point. Let me know when you want to do and I can pop over your place.

I believe you have my contact details. Evenings would be better as cool but need place with lots of light.

Had the standard grooming package for my car yesterday - $200. Exterior plus interior grooming but leather care extra $30. Was told that the engine wash cost about $60, which I didn't take it since my engine is still very clean.

For those that are aware of my mysterious dark marks on the front lid and side door, they have been removed....so were the paint marks near the petrol tank. [:)]

The guy there also help to clean up some of my wife's car marks (for free) but told her that the scratch on her car boot is beyond hope, and requires re-spray. Expected cos her scratch is very deep (see metal type). My wife's car was vandalised in Chinatown after less than a month of getting her car. Guess there are those who love new cars and there are those who don't (especially if it is not theirs). [:(]

Don't you just wish you could meet Michelangelo when he is doing his little piece of art on your car......I personally wouldn't mind teaching him a lesson or two on artwork [pirate]

Hi,

Personally did my Galant at the outlet just after CNY, was very happy with the professionalism service rendered.

When I collected my brand new Galant from the C&C in early Jan, it was treated with System 6 and cost me about $160. I am careful owner, most weekend Sat afternoon will be spent cleaning the car (until sometime my wife get jealous [:p] ) less than 2 two months, I have water markings after one heavy downpour and was not able to remove them cleanly with subsequent washings [:(] . Frustrated I called AutoGlym and sent the car in after CNY. Took the Scheme B package that entitled me to buy approx. $100 worth of products with 20% discount on subsequent polishing and purchases.

Was very happy with the finished work. They are very detaliled and even pointed an inherent flaw of the paint on certain part of the car which eventually got rectified by C&C.

My car is still in prime shining condition till now [:)] with regularly weekly shampooing and washing. Minor touch with the AutoGlym polish to remove some fine scratches. If I am desperate for time and not able to do a thorough washing, wiping with the Mystimaid synthetic cloth will do wonders too.

And AutoGlym - Fast Glass is a fantastic cleaner for those bird droppings and tree sap. Should give it a try.

System 6 - A waste of Money [:p]

Cheers!
