Wanna find out about what you guys think of Shell Helix Ultra as compared to the rest of the brands which promise a lot more. What do you think? Me reaching 15,000 soon and thinking of which brand to use.

redline = good but ex$$, use only if u rev a lot, if not, no diff

m1 = get rough very fast after 5000km, otherwise ok

texas = huh...lol

blue = huh...bluefilm?

x-rev = wtf

 

if u want, get royal purple, schaeffers..etc

else just stick to ultra

I use Redline... Quite ok...

 

Know there are new brand like X-Rev and Texas and blue... hahaha they said until so good so good in the hotstuff magazine... after use what how many percent improvement what immediate feel like new car... mmm [:|] dun know real or not... i stick to redline lor.... seemed their "Testimonial" feature in the magazine is very unreal.... [hur][hur]

Must be from Shell station. Yes, Forklift has the best prices.

 

While you are there, can even try their ENOC lubes. Very cheap also. I think the ENOC Protec 5W40 is going for 29.90/4L or something. Got made in China lubricants.

china lub... mmm... $55 is already quite cheap... dun need to use China lub... China product, unless qualified by a well known manufacturer, else u nv know wat kind of thing the put into the lub...

 

just yesterday, the news was report on fake milk power for adult...

Depends on which engine and whether modded or not.

 

Any Subaru can take synthetic 10W30. The engine is very strong. Even with such a thin oil for normal grocery getters, the engine still give very good wear numbers.

 

If you mod the engine with big turbo and all that, better up it to 5W40 or 0W40.

 

No, I will not recommend brands unless you ask for price/value considerations.

bro im driving a Legacy GT...so which do u recommend?...a fren using Mobil on his LGT, another fren recommends Texas to me..
