was wondering whether the struct bar has a significant increase in performance if w/o changing the springs to lower and stiffen ones??

are coilovers better in this setup??

wat to look out when buying struct bar??

Can look out for CF ones, for lighter weight.....

I was at Pxx Sxxg once and asked if they have CF tower strut bars and they say 'where got CF ones?? Strut bar must got strength, so must be metal!!'

And they gave me a cynical look as though I'm crazy.....crazy.gifcrazy.gif

Then I told them ALUTEC tower struts are CF ones, they look at each other and start scrambling to make phone calls....laugh.giflaugh.gif

haha..the person who told you that definitely does not have knowledge of strength of materials.... [sleeping]

CF can be stiffer than steel(metal) for the same design...and much lighter too.... [thumbsup]

hahahaha. u muz have scared the hell out of them.... [thumbsup][thumbsup]

but compare lower springs and coilovers... which is better if were to enhance the performance of the struct bar....

The gain by strut bars are more on stiffer spring and damper rates.

Makes no difference with the type of suspension. In fact anyone who tells you "one piece" coilovers are better than a damper and spring setup coilovers is talking out of their arse.

Struts Bars will only help to stiffen up the chasis to prevent it from flexing

If you really want, get a thicker antiroll bar setup. :)

A harder coilover will help too, at your comfort expense
