Car colour and energy save

I wonder whether white colour car can save air_con

under hot sun i put my hand on my white colour car surface, very hot but still can stand , next to my car was a dark red colour car, i put my hand on this red car surface, wow! I couldn't stand more than 3 secs , why so different , you can imagine the air_con cool down the red car may consume more power

Sorry OT a bit. Do dark cars lose more petrol if park under the hot sun?

Simple law of physics:- Dark colour absorbs more heat. But this effect can be reduced by maintenance of the paintwork at tip-top condition.

Only people craving for saunas will not on the air con.

Aircon can still turn on but after winding down windows and let the interior cools down first.

Under physic in color,

 

Dark color Absorption of heat is faster but disipation of Heat is also faster in cooling down.

 

Same as light color absorp heat slower but dissipation also slower.

 

So What is the diff?
