how about considering Kumho 712

It is a class A tyre and only cost about $70SGD per piece.

Bro, is the 712 really that good anywhere can get cheap for a 195/45/R15?? How good is good can cite a few examples?? Cos u are running a beast on the tires so if it can hold out it must be very good. [thumbsup]

Yea, its good enough for my car... [thumbsup] but i am still not too sure for a FWD vehicle...coz the spread of power to a 4WD and FWD is difference....

well probably you got to find out more from ppl driving FWD with it....

Mine is a FWD but I find it very good except for noise which I can live with given the low cost for an UHP tyre......thumbsup.gifthumbsup.gif

In short...great value for money

BTW, what car are you driving? and, what is your driving habit like? and, do you travel to Malaysia often?.....and, what is your tolerance for tyre noise?

Hi Maurz,

Recently got a set of GridIIIs changed to Michelin Pilot Preceda coz one of the rear tyres steel belt broke and ended up with a lot of irregular bulges on the inside tyre wall. sweatdrop.gif The other rear tyre had already started to tear on the inside after I got a look at it after removal from the rim.

I posted a thread in the General Car Discussion thread about a problem with the rear tyres vibrating. http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/gforum.cgi...llapsed;#154851

Seems that Bridgestone tyres are quite stiff and any over inflation might cause the thread lining to tear. Noise levels are also higher than Michelins Pilot series tyres as they [Michelins] use a softer compound. Recommended inflation pressures are 210 to 220. nod.gif

Just my 2 cents. tongue.gif
