Firefighter Neutral Newbie July 23, 2006 Share July 23, 2006 Will doing fender along reduce road noise?
Darkness Neutral Newbie July 23, 2006 Share July 23, 2006 will help reduce but how much depends on the extend of the SP + the standard of the OEM SP. Just for example....on a premium jap or decent conti the OEM SP rather good. So adding new SP will mean minor improvement. On a budget car with bad OEM SP....new SP will mean lots of improvement. Vicky Neutral Newbie August 29, 2006 Share August 29, 2006 u want to reduce road and engine noise......personaly i will say don't waste time and $$$. Minimal gains. For ICE if you SP the doors that house the speakers...now that got lots of use. If u not hardcore boy racer kinda driver go check out some of the comfort biased tyres in the rubber and tires section of MCF. This will help u reduce the noise. Just make sure the tyres have good / decent grip etc. If u insist on SP for reducing road noise, engine and trye noise.... u need to SP.... the entire floorpan, firewall, wheel fenders, boot floor (exhaust noise), and perhaps even the 4 doors. Cheers Is there a need to SP the rear door if there's no speaker on it?

Africatwin Neutral Newbie August 31, 2006 Share August 31, 2006 He got a few types of material and depending on what's ur budget and he will recommend accordingly. Cheap dun not mean it will be good. For SP the most important thing is the workmanship is good in order to get the effect. ↡ Advertisement
