SA-CD based system verus TA-aligned system

While i do read lots of posting on TA in cars..e.g Hyun, Sarong1..

 

Do any one here build a home-based SA-CD TA system?

 

How is the Home system compared it to the Car Audio based system?

SACD has 2 formats. Stereo and Surround.

 

For TA, it only apply for MultiChannel systems.

 

For Stereo, I would put as little "effects" as possible to have the cleanest possible sound from SACDs.

 

I've built the home base SACD including multichannel for SACD. However, I would not recommend Multichannel. Music is always produced in 2 tracks, Left and RIght. Remastering it in surround adds the 3rd dimension, but totally reduces in fidelity but introduces a lot of other unknowns.

 

In the end, I took out my SACD, and directly connect to my Tube amps and set to 2 channels only. ..

Have you try your system with multi-channel SACD or just the standard CD formats?

 

Are the music is coming from 2 channels for SACD?

Of course with multichannel SACDs.

Standard CD doesn't resample to multichannels.

 

You can select in SACD to have

1) SACD Multichannel (if available within the SACD)

2) SACD Stereo

3) CD Stereo
