Genie47 1st Gear July 23, 2006 Share July 23, 2006 The engine is NA and can take the dino 10W30. I wouldn't suggest it if it is the turbo engine.

Solaris10 Neutral Newbie September 7, 2006 Share September 7, 2006 Hi... I am new to this forum, dont know how to post a thread, hope this works. I just bought myself a COE 10 year old, Nissan March, for 23K, paying 4 years, thought i can breakeven ASAP, and move on once i am comfortable with driving, I have been thinking alot, before getting this, from new Lancer, to a COE Civic VTi, finally thought i should just get a cheap commuter vehicle to travel from point A to B. Servicing, Where can i find a good mechanic who is experience with this kind of Nissan March. I thought before i drive it around, i send it for a full service first, so that i can have a piece of mind, before i make full use of it, everyday i will travel at least 70Km to and fro work, may need to travel abit more during office hours. Your contribution and comment is greatly appreciated.

Redtrack Neutral Newbie September 12, 2006 Share September 12, 2006 hi GEOGEO i am a auto sunny owner and is going for the 3rd servicing: 1000 km - free mineral oil changed 5000 km - free mineral oil changed 8000 km - free syn oil change Tan Chong uses 2 types of synthetic oil. The default free type is FASTFLO and the one that require top-up is SHOGUN. at 5000km i used my own C.A.R.L.U.B.E syn oil 5W40 and compare mileage with another auto sunny owner using FASTFLO synthetic, no difference in the mileage conclusion : will not be spending money to buy my own syn oil during the rest of the free servicing. Sunray Neutral Newbie September 12, 2006 Share September 12, 2006 Try 5W30, may help in your mileage.
Genie47 1st Gear September 12, 2006 Share September 12, 2006 Fastflo has many grades. Got 10W50 and 5W40. If you really want to get better FC for a Sunny, it is a 5W30 down all the way to 0W20 that will get results. Synthetic or mineral is all hogwash. It is the viscosity that counts.
