Trex101 3rd Gear August 3, 2006 Share August 3, 2006 Nah... just pointing out the obvious spamming by certain "saleman". If you have read all my post, not once did i say anything bad about cxxxxxe or other brands. Can you kindly point out to me which post is "Hostile" to other oil brand? ↡ Advertisement
Dwoon 1st Gear August 3, 2006 Share August 3, 2006 Quote Updates from Carrefour. Mobil 1 is not selling there. They are still peddling cxxxxxe 5w40 @ $29.90. The bottles are forever there. Is it because they over stocked? or no one wants them anymore? TOO MANY PEOPLE WANT THEM...CARREFOUR HAVE TO STOCK MORE...ESPECIALLY DURING WEEKENDS. CARREFOUR BUYERS VERY SMART ONE...THEY STOCK PRODUCTS THAT PEOPLE WANT TO BUY. SPACE IS MONEY...CARREFOUR CAN'T AFFORD TO STOCK PRODUCTS THAT NO ONE WANTS TO BUY. How come I cannot find the 5W-40 at $29.90 anymore? Was there couple of weeks back and the offer price was $39.90.....

Robin 4th Gear August 3, 2006 Share August 3, 2006 Quote M323 use 3qts only? Is that the specs or based on experience? Coz my 2002 M323 (BJ Engine - before Protege), need around 3.4L to get the dipstick to full leh. If just pour like 2.9L....confirm not full leh. mine protege Bj engine... takes slightly more than 3L

Like dat I would prefer to use Mobil 1 which I can get for $55/ 4 ltr bottle. Pay for brand and somemore cheaper. BTW, what's the shelf like of engine oils in general (unopened bottle)? I just got some CLTR 5W-40 but its of the old packaging and the datecode says June 2004. Safe to use boh? Thanks.
