Change back stock size tyres.

Go for known brands such as Yokohama, Bridgestone, Michelin - shd be prertty safe.

IS200 is rather sporty, so consider at least Michelin Pilot Preceda II or Continental PremiumContact II. For a sportier ride, consider Michelin PS2, Continental Sportcontact 2, Advan Sports, Dunlop Sports Maxx - all pretty good.

The IS200's stock Dunlop SP Sports 9000 (Made in Japan) are now out of production.

Next best alternative now is Dunlop SP Sports Maxx.

I tried Bridgestone performance tyres ... forget them. Noiser but poorer grip on wet.

2 of my Alfa kakis had the Dragon. Yes, it for the Asian market. Comfortable and fairly quiet ride. But wear rate is high. It is more of a Max Performance Tyre and not an Ultimate Performance Tyre. So grip is not as good as the Goodyear Eagle F1-GSD3 or Bridgestone SO3.

I'm on Dragons now (235/35/19) and I find them the opposite leh.

Grip is quite lousy and noise level also not good. I find the rubber compound very hard compared with my ex Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's. In fact the 225/45/17 Eagles outperformed 235/35/19 by quite a lot in every sense, except maybe in terms of longevity.

I totally regret my choice. I'll try the Dunlop Sport Maxx next... If I could afford it, I'd definitely get the Michelin PS2's. I thrashed them for a whole day during a driver's training course and they're simply amazing. However, at $680/tyre in my size, I cannot afford lah...

Maybe you can consider HANKOOK...many model to choose from depends on how you driver and your prefrence in tyre criteria. Tyre is very personal...non of the tyre can suit everybody, so you have to know what you want to find the right one.....pm me if you need further assistance...
