i get wat u r trying to come from but sometimes topgear are very biased in their comments and many of times, they over exaggerate or twist wat is actually the truth.

hp is juz part of the factor, torque and power to weight ratio counts too, i think in all of these aspect the sc430 beat 2.7l tuscani hands down...and why lexus tune a sports coupe to be for comfort when there is already a luxury version of it call ls430.

eg6 1.6l engine produces 170bhp, tuscani 2.0l produces 140bhp... so more bhp = more responsiveness if thats wat ure trying to say then the 4.3L lexus has much higher bhp than 2.7L tuscani, not to mention its huge amount of torque.

i think 2litre Tus only 130bhp...nod.gif

The 2L auto is already 10.5sec i think.

The manual 2.0L should be faster.

As for the 2.7L, heard its a V6 and there is a 6spd variant overseas.

Add a TC or SC to this beast, one can probably run with the you-know-what coupe.

if manual one maybe just shave off another sec....

but what iam saying are auto one...

cos i dun think there are manual Tus in sg...

maybe only 1 or 2 like someone mentioned above...

2.0L Auto is 10.5 secs on specs. the Manual one is 8.7 (or something like dat) on specs. Though i have not verifed the timings with a stop watch, i know for sure the manual picks up way faster and more purposefully den the heavy auto. Cos i drive an auto Tus daily and have driven the manual 2.0l one overseas.

bro,i doubt the timing...cannot be 8.7sec....

unless the HP had been upped from the normal 130bhp....
