Checked out the Captiva last weekend at British Motorshow. If pricing is right it could be market leader here in no time. Its a very appealling car, seven seats works great, build quality OK, on par with Ford galaxy/S-max. Just the right size too for sg, though looks much bigger. Will really challenge stablemate Zafira on value. 5 seater version will also be sold as Opel Antara.

For sure ! The Captiva is definitely better looking than the Santa Fe IMHO. Problem is with fuel prices at such high level, wonder if it still make sense at all to drive a guzzler like these ???

It is shaped as a SUV with AWD, 2.4 or 3.2 litres, ESP, EDB, ABS, etc ! However it has the 7 seater confirguration which makes it more as a MPV. You can say it is cross over breed between the two.
