Yc86 Clutched June 19, 2006 Share June 19, 2006 It is connected to the engine vacuum lines. If i'm not wrong, you can choose wheter to use it as a 'brake booster' by connecting it to the braking system, ot as a 'power booster' by connecting it to the engine lines somewhere.... maybe those who have installed it in their rides can confirm with you.. Wolverine Neutral Newbie June 20, 2006 Share June 20, 2006 analogy ..... if you have a straw that has a bulb in the middle like the "container" and when you suck liquid ...it will fill the entire thing ....now try to suck quickly and see if the "Container" supplies more liquid to your mouth
Conservative Neutral Newbie June 21, 2006 Share June 21, 2006 Mine connected to the engine head breather pipes, if thats what its called, the cam cover area. To a certain extent, yes it improves takeoff. But only for the very very intial throttle opening, eg 0-40 kmh Mid and Higher end, no value at all. Like the bros said, no point unless u like the small low end boost.
