Weirdest thing happened...

Was driving off the car park and noticed my aircon wasn't working. There was no display on outside temperature. Fiddle with control a bit, nothing happened. Stop my car and restart my engine, didn't work either so I continue on my journey. At my destination, stopped my car, popped open my bonnet (don't really know what I'm looking for), closed it, start the engine again and viola!!! aircon working again!!! strange innit???

While I opened my bonnet I've found a plastic thingy just underneath my wiper. I don't think it belongs near there. Does any one know what it is?? I did go back to CA to have something remove inside my right passenger as it was making noises while it was sliding back and forth when the car is moving . I wonder if it comes from the door....

Have a check on the fuse on top of the battery for your aircon situation. The car is reknown for the failure of the fuse box, mine was the fuse, fused to the box. Simple fix by scraping away the melted plastic, replace the fuse, that's it.

the thing that probably worked was because when you opened the bonnet, the fuses were allowed to cool.

for me, my batt cover is raised about 10cm (due to my grounding cables) and because of this, there is adequate cooling and i haven't had a blown fuse or aircon not working before.

anyway, i believe it is the green 30A fuse on top of the batt, can just take out and see if it is burnt, if so, just replace.

hope this helps, btw, i don't know what part you have shown on your photos.... [flowerface]
