When someone post a nasty or abusive comments, just alert the mods.

 

Never mind even if they were to say things like:" you machiam small kid calling for your parent for help when there is trouble "

 

It is TIME to clear up such posting/people.

But some forumers can be very narrow minded... like one such forumer (I don not wish to mention names to avoid embarassing you - you know who you are) who, upon seing my thread on 'Adultary', PM moderator Turbobrick to ask him to lock my thread.

 

If one is uncomfortable in seeing such topics, simply look at other topics. No one is putting a knife on your throat to force you to read it.

 

MCF can do without such forumers - MOANERS!

maybe some pple just want to go back to this being a CAR forum, noticed lots and lots of non car related posts going around. Ah well... different pple different wants, [:)]

 

we just live by the rules set by the moderators and everything should be ok. Afterall, we shd give in once in a while to be able to enjoy this forum. [;)]

I guess the words you use in the thread title wasn't appropriate.

 

And as mentioned by you, if one is uncomfortable in seeing certain topics, they can simply look at other topics.

I guess, the key point we have to take note is, Control. We need to have some form of control, else, things will get out of hand.

Good point, also noting that we are a diverse Car and Automotive forum, people would like to have opinions voiced but we are faced with individuals who cannot show restraint and require moderators to take actions to their posts. Such individuals then cannot show maturity and come back to flood the place with more of their nonsense.

 

We will handle these individuals by stride and respond accordingly.

 

The goal of MCF is to bring together people with automotive enthusiasm to have a ground for friendly discussions and to exchange ideas. Sad to see parts of the forum degenerate to the state it is together but we will constantly clean such areas up to avoid the forum going down with an infectious disease as such.

Gad and Turbobrick, perhaps you may want to consider deleting the entire Lite & Easy section, so that this forum shall be exclusively dedicated to CAR ONLY topics. [:)]

try going to school with a lecturer that only answer questions, teach what u need to know.. and no jokes etc..

 

soon u will see student's going out of class...

of course the teacher must joke to open up the session or bond/connect with the student...

but if teh teacher start talking dirty jokes or ...what ever lah, u know lah....
