Chgoh Neutral Newbie June 9, 2006 Share June 9, 2006 Hi, Having some trouble deciding between the Dunlop SP Sports MAXX and Goodyear F1 GS-D3 (German). Appreciate if users of the Dunlop could help out with their comments here. I guess the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 (German) is well known and well-respected so that would be a safe choice, but was wondering if the Dunlop could meet the challenge. My main considerations would be wet and dry grip and I driving a S80. TIA ↡ Advertisement

You are the type of Bro that I'm looking for, someone who is on the F1 and also on the Maxx. How would you rate that wet grip for the Dunlop compared with the F1s? Comparable or lose out a little to the F1s? I understand that the Maxx is Japan made, is it true? Thanks.

Furrynadz 5th Gear June 9, 2006 Share June 9, 2006 see post #11 above not accurate meaning that somehow the results dun tally with the general other reviews such as wheels/tirerack/1010tires/general public slidely skewed eg..f1 ..really that good? if use it...its handling is not _that_ good comparable to sp maxx which really handles excellently, and its dry performance..not that excellent even my dz do brakeing in heavy water ponding down the clem ave 6 to pie bend at 80km/h and i do ebrake also can handle , on bend, and goes where i point it ↡ Advertisement
